Decision details

Resolved that the Executive Member for Highways, Transport (Operations), Emergency Planning and Newbury Vision approved the Three Year Highway Improvement Programme for 2014/15-2016/17.

It was noted that Councillors Royce Longton and Alan Macro had submitted comments after the closing date and Melvyn May confirmed that they would receive a formal response.

It was also agreed that once the flooding had receded the condition of the roads would be assessed and prioritised and a decision would then be made as to whether the Year 1 programme would need to be reviewed and amended subject to additional funding being received.

This decision is eligible to be ‘called-in’.  However, if the decision has not been ‘called-in’ by 5.00pm on 25^th February 2014, then it will be implemented.
