Petition - Proposed Closure of Queens Road Newbury Councillor Jeanette Clifford Decision:
Resolved that the Portfolio Holder for Highways and Transport approved the report’s recommendations that Queens Road is not closed to traffic but pedestrian facilities are improved during the ‘Stirling Cables’ scheme and pedestrian signing is provided to inform pedestrians of the desired route.
This decision is eligible to be ‘called-in’. However, if the decision has not been ‘called-in’ by 5.00pm on 5th October 2017, then it will be implemented.

Parking Scheme - Consolidation Order Amendment 25 Councillor Jeanette Clifford Decision:
Resolved that the Portfolio Holder for Highways and Transport approved the recommendations as follows: That the revision to the proposed parking scheme as detailed in Section 8.2 of this report be approved. That the remaining proposed restrictions be introduced as advertised. That the respondents to the statutory consultation be informed accordingly. That the parking scheme be monitored to address concerns and objections relating to potential displacement into adjacent residential roads. If this occurs and raises significant road safety or obstruction problems for residents or through traffic this should be addressed as part of a future parking review.
This decision is eligible to be ‘called-in’. However, if the decision has not been ‘called-in’ by 5.00pm on 5th October 2017, then it will be implemented.
