Additional documents:

Minutes:

AH presented the Westhill Application for the hub and this was agreed by the SACRE. There will be a joint SACREs conference on 28th September 2016 from 6-9pm at the Holiday Inn, Wokingham. Each SACRE needs to commit to sending four people at a cost of £30 per person. West Berkshire SACRE agreed to do this and currently MH and KH will be able to attend. The conference will include information on British values, the role of the SACRE, a national update, more information on the Crossing the Bridges project and a presentation on understanding Christianity.

MH reported that the hub initiative is progressing well. Chairs/advisers meetings are currently being held in the 1st half of each term, with SACRE meetings being held in the second half. Next year, thoughts will turn towards the new syllabus, which needs to be in place by 2018.

Jan Lever will put together an action plan in the Autumn term for action by the joint SACREs.
