Resolved that:
1. West Berkshire Council includes the requirement for additional stewarding in the legal agreement with the Showman’s Guild for this year’s event (October 2011).
2. The Council writes back to Mr Wyper in response to his concerns.
3. Officers review the effectiveness of these additional measures following this year’s event at a meeting with the Showman’s Guild.
This decision is eligible to be ‘called-in’. However, if the decision has not been ‘called-in’ by 5.00pm on 8 September 2011, then it will be implemented.
