Purpose: the report written by the Children and Young People’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Task and Finish Group, dated July 2025, was prepared to present the findings of a Health Scrutiny Committee Task and Finish Group established to review Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing in West Berkshire.

This report is written to set out the Council’s management response to the Children’s Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Task and Finish Group recommendations, clarifying respective responsibilities between the Council and health partners, and outlining the limitations on implementation arising from the lack of available resources
