Mid & West Berkshire Countryside Local Access Forum
Description
The Forum was established, jointly by Reading Borough Council, West Berkshire Council and Wokingham Borough Council, in response to the requirement under Section 94 of the Countryside & Rights of Way Act 2000. Its role, as set out in the Act, is to advise the appointing authorities (and other bodies) "as to the improvement of public access to land...for the purposes of open-air recreation and the enjoyment of the area...".
